We are currently accepting applications for the Board of Directors 2022-23
The Pineview Community Association (PCA) is a not-for-profit community Association. We are an engaged group of volunteers committed to advocating for a healthy, safe and vibrant community in Pineview. If you are a passionate about your community and would like to make a difference in your neighbourhood, we’d like to hear from you!

As a growing Association we are looking to round our our current board complement, we’re looking for community leaders with skills and experience in a number of areas. 


We’re looking to recruit candidates for some vacancies on our volunteer Board of Directors. 

Member at Large:
The board of directors meet 10 times a year to help guide the activities and goals of the Pineview Community Association.  This ia a great way to get involved in the community, network, and build valuable life skills and resume experience.

Director of Communications (Bilingual Position):
Overseeing the management external communication activities, including community newsletters, posters, social media as well as management of incoming and outgoing communications through emails and other media, and management of website in both Official Languages.

Director of Fundraising:
Securing sustainable streams of funding, including grant applications and private sponsorships.

Director of Volunteer Management :
Overseeing volunteer recruitment, on-boarding, engagement and recognition.

Director of Community Development :
Overseeing the management of safe and accessible Pineview infrastructures, such as parks, roads, pathways and lighting.
Currently we are working towards the revitalization of Pineview Park in 2021-22.

Director of Traffic Safety:
Overseeing the monitoring of traffic related concerns from residents, and assist in advocating for solutions such as the installation of traffic calming measures and the Transit Master Plan. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 
  • Board positions are available to Pineview residents. 
  • The Board meetings once a month, with the exception of December and August. Meetings generally last 2 hours.

L’ACP est une association communautaire sans but lucratif. Nous sommes un groupe engagé de bénévoles déterminés à promouvoir la santé, la sécurité et le dynamisme de la communauté de Pineview. Si notre communauté vous passionne et que vous souhaitez faire une différence dans votre quartier, nous vous invitons à communiquer avec nous! Nous sommes à la recherche de leaders dans la communauté qui possèdent des compétences et de l’expérience dans divers domaines afin de compléter notre conseil d’administration.

Nous souhaitons recruter candidats pour pourvoir les postes vacants au sein de notre conseil d’administration bénévole.
  • Directeur des communications (poste bilingue) : Assurer la gestion des activités de communication externes (y compris les bulletins communautaires, les affiches et les médias sociaux), des communications par courriel et d’autres moyens, ainsi que du site Web.
  • Directeur de la collecte de fonds: Obtenir des sources de financement durables, notamment par le biais de demandes de subventions et de parrainages privés.
  • Directeur de la gestion des bénévoles: Veiller au recrutement, à l’accueil, à l’intégration, à la fidélisation et à la reconnaissance des bénévoles.
  • Directeur du développement communautaire: Surveiller la gestion de la sécurité et de l’accessibilité des infrastructures de Pineview, telles que les parcs, les routes, les sentiers et l’éclairage.
  • Directeur de la sécurité routière: Superviser le suivi des questions liées à la circulation soulevées par les résidents et contribuer à la promotion de solutions, telles que l’application de mesures de modération de la circulation et du Plan directeur des transports.

Candidats et rôles
  • Seuls les résidents de Pineview peuvent occuper un poste au sein du conseil d’administration.
  • Les réunions du conseil d’administration, généralement d’une durée de 2 heures, ont lieu une fois par mois, à l’exception des mois de décembre et d’août.
  • Vous avez l’occasion de vous joindre à un conseil brillant et d’orienter la trajectoire d’une association émergente.

    Pineview Community Association is a dynamic, growing, not-for-profit community Association. We are an engaged group of volunteers committed to advocating for a healthy, safe and vibrant community in Pineview.

    If you are a passionate about your community and would like to make a difference in your neighbourhood, we’d like to hear from you!
    To round our our current board complement, we’re looking for community leaders with skills and experience in a number of areas, up to five (5) new roles on our volunteer Board of Directors.

    *COMMUNICATIONS (Bilingual Position)
    *FUNDRAISING
    VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT: Overseeing volunteer recruitment, on-boarding, engagement and recognition.
    COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Overseeing the management of safe and accessible Pineview infrastructures, such as parks, roads, pathways and lighting.
    TRAFFIC SAFETY: Overseeing the management of performance management activities, such as evaluation of events and community consultations.
    You’ll have the opportunity to join a stellar board, and influence the trajectory of an Association on the rise.
