2019 - 2024
​Strategic Direction

As a result of our 2016-17 community outreach, and a lot of hard work through 2018 from our Strategic Director Chaid Leneis the Board of Directors presented this Strategic Vision for the association to the membership at the 2019 AGM.  On April 29th 2019 it was approved by the Pineview Community Association Membership as our guiding direction for 2019 - 2024. Our Purpose | Raison d'etre for the Association
Communicate and Engage
To provide a forum for neighbourhood engagement and social connectivity for Pineview residents, and keeping residents informed of issues concerning the community.

Advocate for a Healthy and Safe Neighbourhood
To serve as an advocate for community interests with civic institutions, local businesses and other community agencies active in the area.

The Hub
To promote the development, realization, and full utilization of a community center for Pineview.

Events
To undertake, encourage and assist with charitable, educational and recreational  endeavours that enhance the physical and social environment of Pineview.

Our Priorities  for the next 5 years 
Communicate and Engage
1) Communicate with Pineview stakeholders in both official languages
2) Provide all Pineview constituents with access to a physical newsletter
3) Maintain the community communication forum

Advocate for a Healthy and Safe Neighbourhood
1) Advocate for smart healthy transportation urban design 
2) Build and maintain relationships with the City of Ottawa
3) Build and maintain relationships with Association stakeholders and support organisations 

The Hub
1) Launch the Pineview Community Hub
2) Secure ongoing funding for operations
3) Manage community programming

Events
1) Organize community events 
2) Secure ongoing funding for events
3) Expand volunteer base
